Chicken and Apple sandwich is a famous breakfast dish in the west. This is simple breakfast that could be prepared just in 10- 15 mins. Things required to make the sandwich:
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise* or salad dressing
- 3 tbsp plain fat free yogurt
- 1/8 tsp seasoned salt
- 1 cup chopped cooked chicken breast
- 1 medium tart- sweet red apple,cored, cut into bite- size pieces(about 3/4 cups)
- 3 tbsp thinly sliced celery
- 6 whole wheat bread or sweet bread
Executing process:
- In medium bowl, mix mayonnaise- yogurt and seasoned salt.
- Gently stir in chicken, apple and clearly to coat.
- Cut slit in side of each bread to open and form pocket.
- Fill each with 1/3 cup chicken mixtures.
- Wrap each sandwich securely with foil or plastic wrap.
* mayonnaise: a thick creamy dressing consisting of egg yolks beaten with oil and vinegar and seasoned.
Thus the chicken and apple "clam" sandwich is done. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
